When they had kindled a fire in the middle of the courtyard and sat down together, Peter sat among them. Then a servant-girl, seeing him in the firelight, stared at him and said, “This man also was with him.” But Peter denied it, saying, “Woman, I do not know him.” A little later someone else, on seeing him, said, “You also are one of them.” But Peter said, “Man I am not!” Then about an hour later still another kept insisting, “Surely this man also was with him; for he is a Galilean.” But Peter said, “Man, I do not know what you are talking about!” At that moment, while he was still speaking, the cock crowed. The Lord turned and looked at Peter. (Lk 22: 55-61)
Blame Game.
Don’t you just feel powerful if you are in the position to point fingers and blame whoever for whatsoever?
Is it really "POWER" to be able to do that?
On the other hand, PETER lives within us.. when we are enveloped with FEAR and couldn't make a stand.
.. and in the silence of our hearts and minds, we see Jesus looking at us, embracing us with His love and compassion...
NAMASTE.

For the many times we have failed you Lord, we are sorry. We are sorry for pointing fingers, for blaming others and for rejecting You in our words, thoughts and deeds.
Give us the strength to always say YES to you, even when the odds are against us, even if it is difficult, even if it cost us our lives.
AMEN.
NAMASTE.
I choose this post because it really depicts my relationship with Christ now. The moment I doubt HIS love and why HE gives me this kind of misery in LIFE. Sometimes in LIFE we deny HIM as our savior, it really hurts knowing that He's always there for us.
ReplyDeleteI have long ditched that trait, sis. Deal with the consequences of our life's choices, whether or not we've actually caused it. Life goes on; and so must we.
ReplyDeleteand it is just pretty amazing that Christ accepted us despite we have rejected him. Truly unconditional is the love we have from Him.
ReplyDeleteindeed we should be thankful that for millions time we commit sin Lord always give as forgiveness
