"And Jesus told them this parable: "There once was a person who had a fig tree planted in his orchard, and when he came in search of fruit on it but found none, he said to the gardener, 'For three years now I have come in search of fruit on this fig tree but have found none. [So] cut it down. Why should it exhaust the soil?" (Lk 13:6-7)
The soil amazes me. Plant some, and get some. But if what you got won’t produce any, then that’s another story.
We could easily be compared to the tree not bearing fruit. God has given us all the resources (though, sometimes we need poking for us to wake up and appreciate our gifts!) for us to glorify God with His great blessings in our lives.
Let’s all pray we wake up soon and realize we need to produce already otherwise, our creator, may just do some auditing one day, and decide we be cut down!
